Watford Recycling Arts Project
WRAP stands for Watford Recycling Arts Project and the Association is now a member of this group.

WRAP collects high quality waste material from local industry for use by schools, playgroups, under-fives groups, youth clubs and other community ventures. WRAP encourages the creative re-use of the following tyes of material that would otherwise end up in landfill:
  • Paper, card and cardboard offcuts, wallpaper and carpet samples, fabric remnants, leather cuttings, buttons, tubing, canvas, tiles, cork, wood, acrylic, glass, rope, netting, wire, thread, wool, yarn, ribbon, foam, foil, small metal and plastic components and mouldings.
WRAP was recommended to the association by a few of our members who have used it as a free source of equipment for their allotments, included pastic and metal stakes and canes, netting, etc. We believe that membership of WRAP will be of great benefit to our members and hope that you will go and see what it has to offer.

You can see Watford Council's page here. Members of the Association do not need to pay as we are members - see the WRAP details in the Members' Area for the membership number, address and directions.

The facility is designed to be a community resource and so even though it is free, please do not take more than you need.
