Latest News on Cottonmill Floods A few of the Cottonmill alltoments have flooded again in the area of plots 24 to 32.
Click on the image to the right to see the extent of it over the
weekend of the 8th - 9th November. The waters have since receeded (see
second image). The majority of plots are unaffected. The council will
be writing to
everyone to tell them about the work they intend to undertake in order
to rectify the problem.
They have already plugged a hole in the greenhouse on Plot 24 and packed clay along the edge of the path next to plot 29. Keep checking the web site which will be updated as we get further news. |
